Nestled in southern Togo lies the village of Hiheatro. The community strives to provide quality education for their children. However, because of limited financial means, the local elementary school stands in severe disrepair.

Bike 4 Beds leads a group of partners, including local school administration, local contractors, and the nonprofit Friends of Togo, to fund and construct a new primary school for the community and children of Hiheatro.

To date, we raised $25,800 toward our goal of $40,000!

Your support will build a better future for the children of Hiheatro!

Learn Why We Seek to Build this Primary School

The school condition presents a safety hazard to students and teachers.

There is no foundation. Crooked tree trunks barely support the rusty, corrugated aluminum roof that leaks! The school limits our ability to educate our students and children.

In response to the deteriorating school, the community put forth a proposal to build a new primary school.

The design combines cost-effective best practices to provide a stable learning environment for the future.

This is an example of the proposed school.

After the school is built, we hope to engage local engineers to teach basic solar and electrical engineering concepts to the students!

Mr. N'Gasibou, who is an electrical and solar engineer, will lead the school construction.
